Hunter Blackwell is also a founding member of the Lamanna Blackwell Group, where he focuses on residential, luxury, land, farm, and relocation properties. His professional background also includes framing homes during his youth, rural land development consulting, and small business ownership throughout the West Coast. He works with clients in relation to land use, water rights, development, and riverfront property opportunities.
He brings personal knowledge of the region’s waterways to his work. Raised near Newport on the state’s central coast, he grew up with an appreciation for the commercial fishing industry through his father, a retired fisherman. As an adult, he taught himself river and ocean angling and spent years fishing for salmon and steelhead on rivers in Northern California. He owned a seafaring vessel docked in Shelter Cove, California, for 13 years, and has fished the Northern California coastline for salmon, rockfish, halibut, and crab.
Today, Mr. Blackwell spends his free time fishing waters near Ashland, OR, including the Rogue River. He enjoys sharing the activity with his daughter.
